Exhibiting the same is the IEEE student branch of University school of information technology – a perfect concoction of enthusiasm, endurance and dogged determination to reach the apogee of success under the selfless guidance and inspiration By our profound faculty and mentors. 

The seeds of USIT IEEE branch were sown in year 2002 under the mentorship of our then dean Prof B V Reddy and our branch mentor Mr. Udyan Ghosh , whose able guidance and motivation were instrumental in laying a strong foundation .

Accelerating in expanding the technical database, the branch has routinely conducted numerous workshops and sessions by proficient people in that field, held interactive activities and competitions, have always welcomed the novel ideas by the young engineers and lend them the much- needed support to showcase their talent in the ever-so competitive world.

Its publications: Techveda (Bi-annual Newsletter of our student branch), Institute(Bi-annual Magazine (by IEEE HQ)) and Spectrum(Monthly Magazine (by IEEE HQ)) attract the literary side of the students and act as a source for the imaginative , creative and informative articles and reports. 

The festival of USIT IEEE Branch - the annually held NEUROTRIX which comes with a plethora of technical and literary event giving a great opportunity to the students to dwell in form of a participant or an organizer and establish a healthy communication with the students and faculty members of other colleges.

With the onset of each new academic year comes a new generation brimming with confidence ,energy and ever willing to contribute to “make way” for success of this branch and at the other side of the coin , the graduates of our branch departs from whom we derive the experience and wisdom.  

With knowledge sharing and implementation as its pillars, The USIT IEEE STUDENT BRANCH would win accolades and achieve great heights in future.
